This 9 nights 8 days Enthralling Leh Ladakh Tour with Turtuk starts from Leh. Leh, the highest plateau in the Himalayas of India is a desert city, is the capital of northern India’s Ladakh UT(Union Territory). Originally a stop for trading caravans, Leh is now known for its Buddhist sites and nearby trekking areas. Massive 17th-century Leh Palace, modeled on the Dalai Lama’s former home (Tibet’s Potala Palace), overlooks the old town’s bazaar and mazelike lanes. Being the northernmost part of the country it extends from the Himalayas to Kunlun Ranges and also includes the upper Indus River valley. Ladakh region is divided into two districts, Leh and Kargil. Ladakh is a sparsely populated region but is dominated by people following Buddhism and Islam.

After Breakfast, we travel towards one of the Highest Motorable Road of The World, KhardungLa Pass. Have a cup of Tea there, get yourself clicked with the Khardungla Signboard by BRO & proceed towards Nubra valley covering Deskit Monastery enroute. Check-in at Hotel/Camp, freshen up & later you can have a Double Hump Bactarian Camel ride. Don't forget to click this unique mammal, found in the cold Desert. It was once used to carry the trade material on the silk route. After dinner Overnight at Hunter/Nubra Camps/Hotel.

After Breakfast, check out from the camps & visit Diskit Monastery. If time permits you can also go for ATV ride (personal expense) and then continue further till Turtuk. Turtuk falls in Baltistan- the place was under Pakistani control till 1971, so it is predominantly Muslim. Don't miss the chance to interact with the locals and their friendly behaviour - the whole feel is like being in Pakistan. You can try delicious apricots here which are major source of income for the locals Visit Turtuk Waterfall and Turtuk Museum later on Enjoy the magnificent view of K2 peak while walking around. Dinner and overnight stay in Turtuk.

Afte breakfast head towards leh. You will stop over in Hunder which is 83 kms away from Turtuk. Hunder lies on the ancient silk route, once an important international trade route. Hunder is most popular for the double Humped camel safaris which are reminder the bygone era of Silk Route trade. Afterwards move to Leh On arrival done your check-in formalities. Enjoy café hopping and dinner. Overnight stay in your hotel.

After Breakfast, head towards Pangong via Chang La pass. Pangong Lake is one of the most beautiful & scenic high altitude saltwater lakes. The beauty of this place is such that various Bollywood movies have been shot around this lake. Another fact about the lake is that one-third of this lake is controlled by India & rest two-third lies under Chinese province. Check In to the campsite and later go for a stroll around Pangong Lake in the evening. Have dinner in your Campsite Overnight at Camps in Pangong.

Incase of government orders, harsh weather conditions , protests , landslides or any other unforseen circumstances , we work out the best possible alternate plans or trips/treks. At times even even certain activities are cancelled , the organization provides the best alternate but no refunds are provided.
If a trek is called off at the last moment due to a natural calamity/unforeseen circumstances (like rain, snowfall, earthquake, landslides, strike, bandh etc.), JustWravel will issue a trek voucher for the full amount and if possible will provide an alternate trek. The voucher can be redeemed upto same amount for the same trek or another trek in the next 365 days from the trek departure date.
If a trek or trip cannot be completed due to natural calamity/unforeseen circumstances (like rain, snowfall, earthquake, landslides, strike, bandh etc.). No refund would be provided.
