Join The Western Routes to explore the incredible Rann of Kutch in Gujarat. This is a comfortable six-day itinerary starting from Ahmedabad. In these 6 days, we will cover the Rann of Kutch, Bhuj, Dholavira, Little Rann of Kutch & Modhera. We will be in Rann around the full moon. What's more? - Depart for Bhuj. Breakfast en route. This is a long journey ~300 km / 7 hours. Lunch en-route
- Arrive in Bhuj by late afternoon. Proceed to check in.
- Evening is free for leisure.
- Dinner and overnight at Bhuj

- Post breakfast, proceed to Bhuj sightseeing. Visit the Swaminarayan Temple in Bhuj, followed by a guided tour of Prag Mahal and Aina Mahal
- Depart for Hodko village near the Rann of Kutch
- In the evening, head to the Rann for a sunset experience
- Some shopping at the craft bazaar at Dhordo
- Dinner and overnight stay in traditional Bhungas in Hodko

- Early morning drive to the Rann for sunrise (Optional, but recommended)
- Post breakfast, proceed to Dholavira through the Road to Heaven!
- Visit the ruins of a city from the Indus Valley Civilisation at Dholavira. Lunch
- Post lunch proceed to Kalo Dungar (The highest point in Kutch) for sunset
- Overnight stay in traditional Bhungas in Hodko
Day 4 - Rann to LRK

- After an early breakfast, depart for Nirona village for a Rogan Art demonstration & shopping.
- Depart for Bajana village. Lunch en-route. This is a long journey of ~250 km/ 6 hours

- Morning & evening safaris in the Little Rann of Kutch in open jeeps. We will drive through the vast expanse of the Little Rann and observe unique wildlife and migratory birds.
- We will also visit a village famous for Tangaliya weavers and a salt factory

We start our tour from Ahmedabad airport on 1 February 2026. We will be suggesting the flights to be taken to and from Ahmedabad. We can help with the flight and train bookings from Pune or Mumbai to Ahmedabad and back
