It is that time of the year when farmers plant rice. Cutting and re-planting rice saplings is probably one of the most satisfying and therapeutic experiences, particularly for city-goers like us! Join The Western Routes as we head to Shilimb village near Pune for a Rice Plantation (भात लावणी) experience with farmers. We will plant the 'Indrayani' variety of rice with the help of farmers, gorge on some delicious gavran Maharashtrian food and swim in gushing natural streams.

7:00 AM - Assemble at Hotel Nisarg, Nal Stop
7:15 AM - Depart from Pune. We will have another pick-up at Lohia Jain IT Park (Paud Road)
9:00 AM - Arrive at Anjanvel Farm in Shilimb village.
9:30 AM - After a sumptuous breakfast, proceed to the Rice Plantation activity followed by spending time in the gushing streams and waterfalls on the property.
1:00 PM - Lunch
2:30 PM - Pottery and some games
4:30 PM - Depart for Pune after some tea & snacks en-route
6:00 PM - ETA in Pune
