Join The Western Routes as we explore the unexplored and unique Bhuleshwar Temple. Located just 45 km from Pune, Bhuleshwar Temple was built in the 13th century. With intricate rock-cut carvings depicting different mythological events, Bhuleshwar is one of the most stunning temples around Pune. We will explore the temple with an Indologist in tow. After Bhuleshwar we will also make our way to the sleepy village of Loni Bhapkar and visit the Mallikarjun Mahadev Temple another temple built in the 13th century.
What will we do ?
Private Vehicle (AC Coach)
6:45 AM - Assemble at Nisarg Hotel, Nal Stop.
7:00 AM - Depart for Yavat. We will have another pick-up at Hadapsar. Breakfast en route.
9:00 AM - Arrive at Bhuleshwar Temple. After a short hike to the temple, we will explore the temple and know about the different rock-cut sculptures.
11:00 AM - Head to an early lunch.
12:00 PM - Lunch
1:00 PM - Proceed to explore 2 more temples. The Mayureshwar Ganpati Temple (Ashtavinayak) at Morgaon and the Mallikarjun Mahadev Temple at Loni Bhapkar.
4:00 PM - Start back for Pune. En route, we'll stop for tea and light snacks.
6:00 PM - ETA in Pune.
