Join The Western Routes as we explore the ruins of the Vijaynagar empire at Hampi and the stunning Badami Caves on this 3N-4D itinerary. With a local guide in tow, we will listen to stories of the rise and fall of the Vijaynagar empire, which, at its peak, was one of the richest cities in the world! We will also visit the Badami Caves carved into sandstone. These 2 world heritage sites are one of the most beautiful destinations in the country. While at Badami, we will also explore Aihole and Pattadakkal.

Wednesday, 17 November • Depart from respective cities (Pune, Mumbai) by overnight sleeper AC Bus at 9 PM Thursday, 18 November • 8:00 am - Arrive in Hospet. Breakfast. Head to Hampi and check in. • 12:30 pm – Lunch • 1.30 pm – Hampi sightseeing - Queen's bath, Underground Shiva Temple, Badavilinga Temple, Ugra Narsimha, Shri Krishna Temple. Sunset at Hemkuta Hills. • 6:30 pm – Local shopping and depart for hotel • 8:30 pm - Dinner at hotel. Overnight stay in Hampi.

Royal Enclosure, Lotus Mahal, Elephant Stable, Hazara Ram Temple, Vitthala Temple Complex. • 1:30 pm - Lunch en-route • 2:30 pm - Leave for Sloth Bear Sanctuary at Daroji • 7:00 pm - Back to Hampi hotel. Dinner at the hotel. Overnight stay in Hampi.
