Join The Western Routes as we explore the ruins of the Vijaynagar Empire at Hampi and the stunning Badami Caves on this 3N-4D itinerary. With a local guide in tow, we will listen to stories of the rise and fall of the Vijaynagar empire, which, at its peak, was one of the wealthiest cities in the world! We will also visit the Badami Caves carved into the sandstone. These 2 world heritage sites are one of the most beautiful destinations in the country. While at Badami, we will also explore the stunning structures at Aihole and Pattadakkal. What's more? We will go on an evening safari at the Daroji Bear Sanctuary and try to spot sloth bears.

Day 0 - Wednesday, 22 November
- Depart from respective cities (Pune, Mumbai) by overnight sleeper AC Bus at 9 PM
Day 1 - Thursday, 23 November
- 8:00 AM - Arrive in Hospet. Breakfast. Head to Hampi and check in and rest.
- 12:00 PM – Lunch. Followed by a Hampi sightseeing - Hampi Museum, Queen's Bath, Underground Shiva Temple, Badavilinga Temple, Ugra Narsimha, and Virupaksha Temple. Sunset at Hemkuta Hills
- 8:30 PM - Dinner at hotel. Overnight stay in Hampi.

Day 2 - Friday, 24 November
- 8:30 AM – Post breakfast, we will continue with the Hampi Sightseeing continued. Royal Enclosure, Lotus Mahal, Elephant Stable, Hazara Ram Temple, Vitthala Temple Complex.
- 1:30 PM - Lunch en-route
- 3:30 PM - Leave for Daroji Sloth Bear Sanctuary
- 7:30 PM - Dinner at the hotel. Overnight stay in Hampi.

Day 3 - Saturday, 25 November
- 7:30 AM - After breakfast leave for Badami Caves.
- 11:30 AM – Explore the Badami Caves with a guide in tow
- 3:00 PM - After lunch in Badami, we will proceed to visit the Pattadakal & Aihole Group of Monument
- 6:30 PM - Depart for Hampi. We will stop for a quick shopping break for sarees at Ilkal
- 9:30 PM - ETA in Hampi. Dinner on arrival. Overnight stay in Hampi.

Day 4 - Sunday, 26 November
- 5:30 AM – Depart for Malyavantha Hills for sunrise
- 8:30 AM – Back to hotel for breakfast
- 11:00 AM - Head to the beautiful Tungabhadra River for a Coracle Ride
- 2:30 PM - Lunch in Hampi
- 4:30 PM – Depart for Hospet
- 6:30 PM – Departure buses for Pune (We arrive in Pune around 5 AM on 27 November)

The Western Routes was founded in 2011. It started as a concept that found its roots in the love for the state of Maharashtra and its native culture. Since 2015, we have ventured into curating itineraries pan-India which are themed around history, culture, wildlife, people & food.

- Travel from home destination to Hospet and back

HOW TO REACH
We will take an overnight AC sleeper bus from Mumbai/Pune to Hospet. We will help book the return tickets for the group. As the trip cost does not include the to and fro travel to Hospet, this will be additional and the actual ticket cost.
Policy and Terms
- 25% retention charges (More than 45 days prior to scheduled departure)
- 50% retention charges (Between 20 – 45 days prior to scheduled departure)
- 100% retention charges (Less than 20 days prior to scheduled departure)

- INR 12000 as the booking amount before 15 September
- Balance amount by 1 November
