Join The Western Routes as we explore the magical land of Marathwada. We start with the stunning World Heritage Sites of Ajanta and Ellora Caves. These two destinations are among the best places to visit in Maharashtra. We will be visiting the unique Lonar Crater, a geological and natural wonder. On the last day, we will visit the Bibi Ka Maqbara, a replica of the Taj Mahal, along with the impressive Devgiri Fort. We will have local guides at each of our destinations to explain the history and narrate stories related to the caves and monuments.

- 5:30 AM - Depart from Pune. Breakfast en-route
- 12:30 PM - Arrive at Ellora. Lunch.
- 2:00 PM - Explore the Ellora Caves. On the way back, we will visit the Mughal Silk Bazaar to see the making of Paithani Sarees and also shop for some beautiful silk and himroo garments
- 7:00 PM - Arrive at the hotel and proceed to check-in.
- Dinner. Overnight stay in Sambhaji Nagar

- 7:30 AM - After an early breakfast, head to Ajanta Caves
- 10:30 AM - Arrive at the foothills of Ajanta Caves. Take a close look at these magnificent caves containing carvings depicting Buddha's life. Explore the areas around the caves
- 2:00 PM - Lunch. Post lunch, depart for Sambhaji Nagar
- 7:00 PM - Arrive at the hotel. Dinner. Overnight stay in Sambhaji Nagar
Day 3 - Lonar Crater Lake

Saturday, 11 October
- 7:30 AM - After an early breakfast, head to the Lonar Crater.
- 10:30 AM - Arrive at Lonar. Located in the Buldhana district, Lonar is one of the most fascinating natural wonders in India. This unique crater lake was formed by a meteorite impact thousands of years ago. It is one of only four known hyper-velocity impact craters in basaltic rock anywhere on Earth. We also visit the ancient Daitya Sudan temple and the Gaumukh temple.
- 3:00 PM - Lunch. Post lunch, depart for Sambhaji Nagar
- 7:00 PM - Arrive at the hotel. Dinner. Overnight stay in Sambhaji Nagar
Day 4 - Devgiri Fort (Daulatabad)

Sunday, 12 October
- 6:30 AM - Visit the Devgiri Fort (Daulatabad) with a guide and explore the different secret passages, defence strategies and multiple gates and bastions of the fort. Back to the hotel for breakfast.
- 10:00 AM - Post breakfast, check out. Visit the famed Bibi Ka Maqbara and depart for Pune. Lunch en route.
- 9:00 PM - ETA in Pune.
