All About It
The Flamingos have started arriving in Maharashtra! Join The Western Routes as we head to Kumbhargaon village on the banks of the Ujjani Dam backwaters to spot migratory birds. Spend your Saturday morning in the company of Flamingos and other migratory birds. We will extend our trip to the stunning rock-carved Bhuleshwar temple! Both these destinations are a photographer's delight!
What will we do ?
Private Vehicle (AC Bus)
Breakfast, Lunch
Scheduled Itinerary • 5:30 AM - Assemble opposite Hotel Nisarg, Nal Stop (Safe parking space available for bikes on the road.) • 5:45 AM - Depart for Kumbhargaon. Additional pick ups can be arranged at ,Hadapsar.) Breakfast and tea en-route • 9:30 AM - Reach Kumbhargaon village. Get on to a boat to observe the birds at close quarters. Return to the shore and continue bird-watching in the surrounding areas. • 12:30 PM - Head to Yavat for lunch. • 2:30 PM - Depart for Bhuleshwar temple and explore the rock-carved interiors of this temple. • 5:00 PM - Depart for Pune with a tea break en route • 7:00 PM - ETA in Pune

Things to carry
- Carry minimum 2 litres of water per person. - Sun cap/scarf for protection from the sun. - A light jackets if it gets chilly in the bus. - Comfortable footwear. Floaters or open sandals are preferred as footwear might get wet while getting on and off the boat. Sports/walking shoes are good too. - Personal medicines (We will have a basic first-aid kit with medicines, but if you require any special medicines, please carry them). - Binoculars (Carry if you own a pair, as they are VERY USEFUL when bird-watching). - Camera (Optional) - Bird Guide (Optional) - Snacks for everyone to share.
