Join The Western Routes as we embark on a journey to explore the glorious Bundelkhand region, which is spread across the states of Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh.
We start with the historical town of Gwalior which was the stronghold of the Scindia Dynasty of the Maratha Empire in the 18th century. We then head to Orchha, an ancient town based on the Betwa River which showcases a supreme display of Mughal-influenced Rajput architecture in the shape of spectacular palaces, temples and royal chhatris (cenotaphs). We will continue our journey to the Khajuraho group of temples with exquisite carvings. These temples are declared as a World Heritage Site and are among the finest temples in the world. We will also explore the historical city of Jhansi in Uttar Pradesh and experience the Royal cuisine in the area!
