All About It

Join The Western Routes as we combine two of our passions - travel and food and explore an area extremely close to our hearts - Konkan!  On this Culinary Trail of Konkan, we will go beyond the popularly known dishes like fish curry, fish fry, solkadhi, and explore Konkani food which is authentic, traditional, and most importantly not known. Over three days, we gorge on some unknown delicacies from Konkan, assist host families with cooking lost recipes, try our hand at making (and eating) the yummy ukdiche modaks, and experience the rich food culture of the Ratnagiri district of Konkan.
