Mahashivratri at offbeat Konkan! Village fairs, midnight celebrations, and an age-old live theatre art form of Dashavtaar - this is how we are celebrating Maha Shivaratri. We are taking you to Mochemad, a quaint little village nestled in the beautiful Konkan for an offbeat celebration of Mahashivratri. Very much rural and secluded from the crowded locations in this belt, we have curated the perfect itinerary for anyone who wants to explore the rawness of this lush green region. From bathing in a lagoon to feasting on unlimited Surmai, live Konkan like never before.

Day 0 : - We leave from Pune by 8 P.M. either by public bus/train. Day 1 : - Reach the eco-village in the morning. - Breakfast, freshen up and leave for Yashwantgad Seaside fort. - Lose yourself in the blue waters of the lagoon next to the fort. - We shall have lunch and rest for a bit. - Late afternoon we leave for hook fishing, sea fishing, and a boat ride to watch the mangrove belt. - We reach our first homestay in the village and have dinner there. - You are welcome to watch the locals cook famous Malvani cuisine and learn from them. - Post dinner we leave for The Mahashivaratri Village Fair and attend the traditional live theatre performed in the village for decades - Dashavtaar. - We call it a night once the celebrations are over. Day - 2 : - Wake up early in the morning and have breakfast. - We walk through the coastal village, observing their culture, lifestyle, and simplicity. - We visit the local market where you get to shop for any fish for dinner. - We go back for Lunch and then trek to a forest which opens the way to a natural sea pool. - In the evening we go to the beach and set a campfire. - Post dinner, we retire back to our homestay. Day 3 : - We wake up and have our breakfast. - We visit a secluded beach, the location of which is not easily accessible to outsiders. - We have Lunch which includes unlimited Surmai fish. - We leave for Sawantwadi & then for Pune.

It was my first ever trip and camping.... And people at Pune Travel Club made it really special for me. Considering the heavy rush for New Years I understand a few things might go here and there but overall I just loved it. Camping at Kashid... Beachside Campfire... Next day Beautiful scenary at the beach and water sports.... It was a special start of the New Year for me. Thanks a lot Pune Travel Club team.

It was my first ever trekking experience and PTC made it worthwhile. Enjoyed a lot....Went with a very nice group from Pune to Bhandardara Fireflies festival..... Shraddha our co-ordinator was very humble, soft spoken and an outstanding person who guided us throughout the trekking....I would definitely love to attend more events.....

For Treks/Camping/Ecotours (up to 2-Days) : 100% refund for cancellations done 14 days prior. 75% refund for cancellations done 7 days prior. 50% refund for cancellations done 4 days prior. No refund for any cancellations done within 4 days. For Long (3 Days+) Trips/Treks : 100% refund for cancellations done 28 days prior. 75% refund for cancellations done 21 days prior. 50% refund for cancellations done 14 days prior. 25% refund for any cancellations done 7 days prior. No refund for cancellations done within 7 days. For Wildlife Tours/Expeditions/Backpacking Trips (5 Days+) : 80% refund for cancellations done 60 days prior. 60% refund for cancellations done 45 days prior. 40% refund for cancellations done 30 days prior. 20% refund for any cancellations done 15 days prior. No refund for cancellations done within 15 days. On cancellation of the trip by the company, a refund will be processed within 3 to 7 business days of informing the clients. No refund to any claim made after 30 days of services provided. Please Note : All refunds will be made through Electronic Transfer, Bank Transfers or UPI. The refund will be processed within 3 to 7 days of requesting a cancellation. Up to 5% from the refund amount will be deducted as transaction fee. Terms and Conditions

1. Alcohol and smoking are strictly disallowed on treks. If found, trekking under influence of drugs or drinks you’ll be barred from the trek. And our responsibility ceases with you. 2. Littering is strictly not allowed on treks. Do not leave empty plastic bottles, biscuit or chocolate wrappers behind. We have to carry our own garbage/leftovers back to the city. 3. Wear proper loose fitting clothes no jeans pants allowed. Try and wear full sleeve top and long bottoms or pants. Will spare you from mosquitoes, insect bites or thorny bushes (your choice). 4. Talk to the native villagers gently and give respect to them. Cause we are their guests. 5. Do not carry lots of cash, gold or any valuables. We are not responsible for the loss. 6. Please follow instructions given by trek leads and organizers. Do not debate with any organizer. All instructions are for the participants' benefit. 7. Let's respect and admire nature together. Also, be careful about flora.
