Join The Western Routes on a Heritage Walk of Old Pune every Sunday at 9 AM.
On the walk, explore the old city of Pune and its by-lanes on foot. Hear intriguing stories of the Marathas, the rise and fall of the Peshwas, walk through the historic bazaars, admire the different architectural styles of monuments, temples and houses, and learn about the traditional art & craft forms that have been part of the city's history.

What will we do ?
Snacks
- 8:45 AM - Assemble at Shaniwar Wada (Dilli Darwaja)
- 9:00 AM - After a brief round of introductions, we will explore the iconic Shaniwar Wada, the seat of the Peshwas. We will then venture into the old city on foot. We will head to Kasba Ganpati Mandir. Here we'll have a quick tea and snacks break. We will then proceed through Laal Mahal, Bhau Rangari Bhawann, the Dagdusheth Halwai Mandir followed by Tulshibaug market and temple and finally the Mahatma Phule Mandai. Along the way, we will share interesting cultural and historical anecdotes about our beloved city.
- 12:00 PM - The tour ends at Mahatma Phule Mandai
