Join The Western Routes on a Heritage Walk of Old Pune.
On the walk, explore the old city of Pune and its by-lanes on foot. Hear intriguing stories of the Marathas, the rise and fall of the Peshwas, walk through the historic bazaars, admire the different architectural styles of monuments, temples and houses, and learn about the traditional art & craft forms that have been part of the city's history.

Snacks
- 8:45 AM - Assemble at the Dilli Darwaja of Shaniwar Wada
- 9:00 AM - After a brief round of introduction, start the tour. We will explore the Shaniwar Wada and then venture into the old city on foot. We will visit the Kasba Ganpati Temple, learn about Laal Mahal, Shivaji Maharaj's home in Pune, Nana Wada, Bhau Rangari Bhavan, pass Dagdusheth Halwai Temple, experience the bustle at Mahatma Phule Mandai, the vegetable and fruits market, and end the walk at Tulshibaug Ram Mandir. Along with these places, we will share interesting cultural and historical anecdotes about the city during our walk. Of course, we will break for chaha (tea) and traditional snacks en route.
