Sandhan valley is one of the greatest canyons in the Sahyadri mountain ranges. Located in the Ahmednagar district, near the famous fort Ratangad; Sandhan valley is undoubtedly “The Valley of Suspense”. Walking through the narrow streak of the valley with 300 ft rock walls on both the sides is a lifetime experience. Descending full Sandhan valley is always a memorable outing and the overnight stay under the sparkling sky. Difficulty Level: Hard

Day 01: Leave to Samrad at 11 pm from Pune in Private Non AC Bus. Day 02: Early morning arrival at Samrad. Wakeup by 6:30 am freshen up and have breakfast. At 7:00 am, have a small introduction and briefing session. Proceed to Sandhan Valley Trek. Experience the thrill of the trek in the valley. Have Lunch midway, Start rappelling activity and keep descending to the pond. Reach the stay point by evening. Have dinner. Overnight Stay in Open. Day 03 : Freshen up. Post breakfast, proceed towards Dehne village. Have lunch at Dehne village. Proceed to Pune in Private Non Ac Transport and will reach Pune by 9 pm Trek concludes with fun-loving Memories :D

It was my first ever trip and camping.... And people at Pune Travel Club made it really special for me. Considering the heavy rush for New Years I understand a few things might go here and there but overall I just loved it. Camping at Kashid... Beachside Campfire... Next day Beautiful scenary at the beach and water sports.... It was a special start of the New Year for me. Thanks a lot Pune Travel Club team.

It was my first ever trekking experience and PTC made it worthwhile. Enjoyed a lot....Went with a very nice group from Pune to Bhandardara Fireflies festival..... Shraddha our co-ordinator was very humble, soft spoken and an outstanding person who guided us throughout the trekking....I would definitely love to attend more events.....
