• The group assembles at Botanical Garden Metro Station in Delhi where after a small briefing session we embark on an overnight journey to Chopta.

• Travelers are recommended to get enough rest and also indulge in bonding sessions with fellow travelers to make the most of the experience.

Highlight of the Day: Christmas Celebration

• Today, we trek to the Highest Shiva Temple in the World which is also one of the panch kedars. Along the way, we experience a glorious sunrise that lights up the entire valley.

• To be there, witnessing the stunning views all around, hearing the bells ringing and the sheer love and devotion of people will fill you with utmost satisfaction and tranquility.

• After spending some time at Tungnath, we will head to Chandrashila if weather permits. It is an hour trek from here. Along the way, we capture mind blowing views of Snow Clad Himalayas and spend some time rejuvenating at the top.

• We trek down before sunset and get some rest for the adventure that awaits the next day.

Highlight of the Day: Tungnath Trek

• Today, we set out on a scenic drive to Binsar traversing through nameless tiny hamlets and soaking in blissful views of Kumaon, Uttarakhand.

• Binsar is a small town nestled in Almora and encircled by stunning views of the Himalayan Peaks and Binsar Wildlife Sanctuary.

• Upon reaching, we will check-in to our designated stays, relax for sometime and catch a majestic sunset.

• In the evening, we will be enjoying the bonfire and spend some moments of solace.

• Dinner and Overnight stay in Binsar.

Highlight of the Day: Binsar Wildlife Sanctuary.

• Waking up to the sweet chirping of birds and pleasant weather, we will head out to explore this gorgeous town.

• We will start from Zero Point, which is located in the Wildlife Sanctuary and is famous for providing a 360 degree view of the Himalayan Ranges. You can recognize all the major peaks like Chaukhamba, Nanda Devi, Nanda Kot, Panchachuli, and Kedarnath from here.

• Then we head to Kasar Devi Temple, which is one of the 108 Shakti Peeth’s in India. Goddess Kali along with her sisters Laxmi and Saraswati are worshiped here.

• In the evening, we will enjoy a local dinner that will help us fully immerse ourselves in the local Pahadi culture.

• Experiencing the majestic mountains of Uttarakhand on long drives is one of the best ways to capture the essence of this magical place we also call Dev Bhoomi.

• We set out on a scenic drive from Binsar to Jim Corbett, crossing numerous tiny villages, view points and just enjoying the peaceful drive.

• As dawn breaks, we will enjoy an early morning Jeep Safari in the jungles. With some luck, you can spot the Royal Bengal tigers, elephants, deer, and much more wildlife in its truest, most raw form.

• After the Safari, we will visit the Girija Devi Temple to seek blessings and then head to Rishikesh in the afternoon.

• After reaching, we will check into our hotel in Rishikesh and spend the evening enjoying the surreal views and vibe of the place.

Highlight of the Day: Jeep Safari, Girija Devi Temple

• Perched by the Ganges, Rishikesh is a popular town that is not only famous as the Yoga Capital Of India but also for its religious and spiritual significance.

• The group will head to the rafting point where we will be given instructions. We will then dive into the rafts and enjoy this adrenaline-pumping activity that is a must-do in Rishikesh! Rafting is a once-in-a-lifetime experience that lets you feel a thrill and adventure with safety!

• From here we will visit two famous Bridges the Ram Jhula and Janki Devi Setu followed by exploring the local market. Rishikesh Local Market is the holy grail for shopping enthusiasts as you find numerous hippie and handmade apparel, craftwork, souvenirs, etc.

• In the evening, we will become a part of the Sacred Ganga Aarti which is a truly enlightening experience.

• Today at night, we celebrate New Year’s in the grandest way possible! With music blaring, snacks, bonfire, and dinner, the group will welcome the new year with a bang!

Highlight of the Day: New Year celebration

• Post Breakfast, we will check out from hotel and head out to explore this beautiful town, starting from Beatles Ashram which is famous for its 84 Meditation Huts and Graffiti Work. It is named after the famous English Rock Band, Beatles who dived into Transcendental Meditation here.

• We will start our journey to Dehradun known as Adobe of Drona.

• Later, we will explore the famous Robber’s Cave which is a unique experience, and with that, we will come to the end of our Uttarakhand Backpacking Trip.

• We will bid adieu to the mountains and board our overnight traveler to Delhi reminiscing the beautiful memories made in the past week.
