An enthralling trek to Visapur fort!! About the Visapur fort: Attaining a height of 1,084m, this historic fortress was built during the late 1713-1720s. Steeped in history and some of the glorious tales of the past, this historic fort was built by the first Peshwa of the valorous Maratha Empire. But was later conquered by the British in 1818. Visapur Fort is larger and at a higher elevation than its twin fort- Lohagad. These two roofless buildings surrounded by outer or veranda walls said to have once been Government offices. • Start from Mumbai - Dadar at 6 am and reach Malavali by 9 am. • Post Heavy Breakfast, we will leave Proceed to the base village. • We will start the trek @ 10:00 am and reach the top by 12 noon. • We will explore the fog covered fort & Shayadri valley views for the next two hours. • We will start descending @ 2 pm and reach the base village by 4 pm. • Post late local mouthwatering lunch; we will start return journey to Mumbai at around 6 pm and reach Mumbai back by 10 pm. Tour Concludes with happy memories :)

It was my first ever trip and camping.... And people at Pune Travel Club made it really special for me. Considering the heavy rush for New Years I understand a few things might go here and there but overall I just loved it. Camping at Kashid... Beachside Campfire... Next day Beautiful scenary at the beach and water sports.... It was a special start of the New Year for me. Thanks a lot Pune Travel Club team.

Shraddha our co-ordinator was very humble, soft spoken and an outstanding person who guided us throughout the trekking....I would definitely love to attend more events.....
